So I log into Guild Wars 2 today to play the beta and, well.... I hear the Main Theme play again... but this time something's a little different. The Main Theme has been updated to use a live orchestra and sounds even more epic than before!

This awesome track will play during character selection/creation after Heart of Thorns launches on October 23rd!

Heh, just goes to show you how much of a difference real instruments played by real people can make. :)

Theres one problem with this song ....it prevents me from logging into a character just so I can listen to it!

It's now officially possible to set this as the login theme LETS

Edit: For anyone who doesn't know (and because Youtube won't let me post a reply for some reason) - you go to options menu, general options, find the one named "character select background", and there you can change it.

Wish there was a way to select what login screen you want to use..both this one and even the OG gw2 screen are better tha PoF in my opinion

I miss my old clan, I miss this games, I miss my friends. This theme is both one of the best and saddest pieces of music at the same time. The launch of HoT and the subsequent 2 years was the best time I ever had online or gaming ever. Doomsie, Nyx, Martin, Alex, Jess, and so many more amazing people I miss you all so much.

Having finished EoD it makes me miss HoT so much. The atmosphere of HoT is so dark and foreboding.
