You aint gotta do allat, just use the formula 1/2d^2

I think that the most easiest way in this case is just apply formula (d^2)/2. Where "d" is the diagonal of the square. It is the formula for determining the area of rhombus. More over square is the particular case of rhombus with equal angles and equal diagonals. It is faster and you do not need to determine and calculate the side of the square as you can calculate area directly. (6^6)/2=36/2=18.
