I would go for the Red 8 plus => better battery and bigger screen (not on paper but in practice). And that sexy mix of black and red makes it look awesome ! Despite being an older design. Finally, i just prefer fingerprint scanner over faceID as i think it's easier to use and more reliable.

I have the X, and I hate it. I recently bought the red 8 Plus and fell in love again. iPhone X has a lot of potential, just not my thing. Gonna rock the red 8 plus for a couple years then see what Apple has in store for 2020.

Any color 8 Plus is better than X. Better battery life bigger area screen, mostly same cameras, and same exact performance. Also 200 $ less. I don’t know how anyone would chose the X and I don’t even care about the notch! I feel bad for people who waste an extra 200 dollars on a product that is worse in a lot of ways. Not once in my experience with the iPhone 8 Plus have I said to myself “ man I wish this was oled “. Also I can’t imagine dealing with cropped video playback. I watch YouTube a lot and cam from an iPhone 6 Plus. I will not watch video that is small or video that cuts out content to fill the screen. This is why I think the iPhone X is worse than the iPhone 8 Plus.

I’ve got an iPhone 8 Plus and I’d like to clarify that the 8 Plus and the X offer exactly the same performance. The whole future proof argument in support of the X in this video is incorrect because both phones have the same A11 chip! Yes the iPhone X has slightly better cameras and Face ID/Animoji if you’re into all that (yawn). Personally I find the notch on the X is just too intrusive when watching video. I also feel many of the gestures on X are actually worse (using control centre, app switching and closing down apps aren’t as easy to do anymore). Maybe this will be resolved in a future iOS update. Basically, iPhone 8 Plus has been perfected whereas iPhone X still needs work.

I've played with the Ten and I don't feel the cost justifies its price and the Notch speaking for myself was an annoyance I couldn't get past. The 8+ I really liked about it overall...

I think 8 plus is better .. and when i hold the x i felt that it is very very heavy .. and the stainless steel isnt a big deal because it will lose its shiny and it will scratch easly

What’s funny is that I had an iPhone X and I traded it in yesterday for the ProductRed iPhone 8 and I’m extremely happy with it. I never got used to the X. I tolerated it but never fell for it. The 8 👌🏾👌🏾 (and I had an 8 b4 the X)

I couldn’t pass up the Product Red iPhone 8 Plus. It’s gorgeous. Don’t get me wrong, I like the iPhone X’s display and design but I’m just gonna wait for the newer model.

Really enjoyed the video. I agree totally. I have and IPhone X and tossed the idea around of going to 8 Plus but I think that would be a mistake. Gotta break the cycle. X is the style moving forward for Apple.

Nick Ackerman, honestly, the iPhone 8 Plus (PRODUCT RED) looks very nice in my opinion, but I like the iPhone X (WHITE) more because of those strong reasons.

REASONS why I like the iPhone X over the 8 plus.
1) The design looks fresh
2) It has bezzelest display like other android smart phones
3) OLED display
4) FACE ID but no Touch ID (unfortunately)
5) The A11 BIONIC chip like the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

So these are my strongest reasons why I like the iPhone X better than the iPhone 8 Plus.

I would choose the iPhone X if it weren’t $1000. I’d be happy with either one. I just can’t justify the price of the iPhone X 🤷🏻‍♂️
