I think the problem today is the excess of tasks and objectives, we are not biologically programmed to deal with so many things. The problem is not with us, but with the system based on a sedentary lifestyle, which replaced nomadism and hunting and gathering. Task minimalism is the way to avoid going crazy.

What I learned running a business and also doing amateur body building on the side, is that, willpower and motivation are not limitless. You cannot power through for a long period of time solely on willpower. This is where discipline and habits comes in.

When you embark on a new endeavor, you need to use that starting motivation and willpower to develop habits. It takes on average about 30 days of persistence to develop a habit. Once you do, you stick to it. Using discipline. When eventually your willpower subsides, or you're just going through a rough patch and cannot focus on something, you lean on your already established healthy habits using discipline. This approach changed my life completely. In all aspects.

I totally agree with the video. Two things I can highlight:

1. Finding your chronotype is a trial of success and error.

2. It must be recognized, the human brain focuses on something as well as defocuses on something.

In conclusion, we are not machines (for a time I was like that). Therefore we have to dose our pending things in a healthy way to obtain better results.
