Without a doubt one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. It makes me want to cry every time I hear it.

Tried learning this one time. I gave up. Then one day I found out I had a piano competition, and I was thinking about what to play. I then remembered this beautiful song. I am learning it now. Great piece.

Man, why's this so hard!! I've got like the first 30 seconds or down at least. I've always loved this song and now even just sort of being able to play some of it is very exciting

For all the people here that just started with playing the piano and are planning to learn this piece soon: i wish you luck. This piece does sound simple and easy, but that isn't the case. I've got piano lessons for 11 years now, and this piece is at my level now. Ofcourse, not everyone learns at the same speed, but you can't play this piece with zero experience.
Also, its important to know that the notes of a piece, in particular this piece, aren't everything. Its very important HOW you play it. You need to master many techniques to make it sound like it is meant to sound. Don't haste in your piano progress and take you time. You will ruin your piano skills if you play pieces that are way to hard for you current level. Thanks for reading this.

I hadn't played a single key of piano in my whole life. But one day I suddenly had this passion to learn how to play this masterpiece, because it was making me feel so comfortable in a very bad time. So I started practicing at school and sometimes at home, with the help of my sister. I was learning notes in a wrong way and it was actually hard to play when my both hands were involved but seems like playing it the right way is easier for me so wish me luck! I'll keep you updated if I ever master how to play it <3
