Autotrader: Thank you for the review. I ordered a 3008 1.2 petrol auto Allure literally a week ago from my local dealer. He knocked £2000.00 off the list price immediately. Due to the fact that I now only travel 3000 miles a year the petrol variant appeared most applicable and I was pleasantly surprised by the award winning 1.2 engine. I decided to change my BMW 520D due to the recent bad press diesel engines are being treated to as a result of air pollution. Governments in the UK, Germany and France look as if they are going to make life for diesel car drivers uncomfortable. The Mayor of London has suggested a £20 per day surcharge on diesel cars: and as I live on the outskirts of a midlands city myself, I was a little concerned the idea would spread. Peugeot offer an incredibly clean range of diesels, as do other manufacturers, but politicians do not seem to be taking this into account. Does Autotrader see any future for new diesel powered cars and what effect do you think a change in policy will have on the second hand market?

I test drove this car last week in allure spec and its absolutely stunning inside and out and I found the ride quality very smooth compared to the over firm and boring looking Ateca. Its head and shoulders over the qashqai too. ill probably buy one in Gt line spec in 2018. Haven't driven or seen a better comparable suv yet.

The model your testing has 19's of course it will be firm! My Qashqai had an awful ride I thought on 18's

This car is cheap if you buy it with a low cost cardealer. In the Eu we can have it for 22000 euros / 18500 £

my humble advice is to wait about 16 months and get it at half the price.it will devalue making it a great second hand buy.

Never drove a 3008 but have driven a 2008. Took 5 minutes to get in and out of it. Not much leg room or head room.
