Some modern graphic cards with a VBE 3 bios have mode numbers for a widescreen resolution too for 16:9 and 16: 10 aspect ratio, but i dont know if a DOS game use these widescreen resolution, else a 4:3 aspect ratio on widescreen monitor will be stretched with interpolation.

Mine doesn't auto-create a playlist after I scan the dos games, so i have to manually search for the files every single time. I also can't seem to figure out how to make a playlist. I also get no audio in either of the two games I've tried playing so far.

I am on MacOS. RetroArch does not detect DOS games. Dosbox core runs but cannot find any games

Retroarch has about three different versions of DOSBOX. What I'd like to know is, what's the difference between each of them? Which is best all round? Are any of them any better than the OG in terms of compatibility? Do any of them compare to DOSBOX-X?

I use the path command. Example:

PATH=%path%;C:/

All executable in the path can start from any sub-folder without to specify the location.

If an old game run to fast it is a very bad programming style to use a simple loop for a delay, because the timer chip exist from the beginning of the first x86 PC.

Hello. The video was very helpful. I've managed to run and play games. The one game I can't play though is Fallout. It starts loading and then cuts out and goes the main screen with exes and bats. Is there something to make this game run.
