It's hard to do, but this is absolutely the correct advice. It puts the focus on controlling yourself and what you can do in response to her pull-back, without getting overly emotional or trying to stop her from pulling back. Respect for yourself means this is the only proper response to her pull-back. Do a pull-back of your own and focus on doing activities that will enhance your own life, without telling her this. Just do this for yourself.

This isn't good advice if this girl is your long term partner. This is fine if it's dating but for me I like to know the person in with genuinely cares about me but I'm aware a lot of women are more manipulative than I am. I only pull away from my relationships (all communication) if I no longer feel safe. If I'm not attracted to my partner, I'll talk normally but intimacy will be pulled back. That's the difference for me.
