I grew up in the Seattle area, and when I saw the picture I immediately thought "Oh that looks an awful lot like Lake Washington, maybe the OP took it on Mercer Island?"
The fact that Rainbolt not only guessed that as fast as me, but was able to find the precise location faster than I could even fully process what I was looking at, is thoroughly impressive.

Not only have I been to Magnuson Park before, where this picture was taken, I have also almost certainly stood on that exact beach before. In spite of all this, the best I could do was vaguely assume the picture might have been taken somewhere on/near Lake Washington, with about as much confidence as I would place in my ability to pilot a helicopter. _Rainbolt got the goddamn decimal coordinates down to a few METERS._
