J'BA FOFI CAUGHT ON CAMERA! {ENHANCED VERSION/SHORTENED}

A legendary cryptid J'ba Fofi has finally been caught on camera, back in 2014 in Mozambique by some campers, they heard stories of native villagers coming across giant burrows and seeing giant webs around the nearby area, so they decided to take a camera with them and before they tucked in to their tent they put the camera on a nearby tree and began recording overnight. In the morning they were shocked at what they had captured. This may have been close to the area of the Arthur Simes encounter back in the 1800's.

Credit to Owleye for stumbling onto the video.

Look in between the two trees at 00:40.

Remember that ancient forest they found in China that was prehistoric with high oxygen levels? That has now recently been found? Maybe there's one in the congo yet to be discovered and they reside there?

Briefly participated in missionary work in the Congo in the late 1980's and can say with my hand on my heart that me and 6 other locals witnessed a J'ba FoFi scurry across the road/clearing into the bush just 5 feet away from us, about an hour outside of Gamboma. It looked exactly like a long legged tarantula but was about the size of a medium sized dog, pitbull or something. Of course everyone I've ever told says 'yeah sure, just a big spider, monkey or sloth' but I know what I saw and feel lucky to have seen it ! 🤷‍♂ I remember my first thought was not fear but just I wish I had a film camera. The locals were shocked too. I hope they still exist out there.

Entomologists say that these spiders don't exist because primitive spider lungs don't allow them to grow anywhere near this big. That just makes me question what lung system these spiders developed to allow them to transcend those limits. A specimen would be extremely valuable to science if one could be captured.

this is like one of those videos it gets you to look very closely and then suddenly when you least expect it a zombie pops up and screams at you and you fall off your chair in shock

0:40 on the mound behind the pond on the right side of the screen, next to the tree
Moves like a spider, if you go to wide-screen it looks like one too. Probably 4-5 feet wide

Come on humans! You are not afraid of us arachnids, your fear comes from a sutile red spider who walks around when you sleep naively across 4D.

The Congo is one of the least explored and biodiverse places on Earth. There is no telling what all is in there.

My theory is that we know the world has had much higher oxygen levels at some point, allowing tarantula like species to grow large by our scale, and then now due to less oxygen they are only located in pockets of extremely dense rainforest/jungle that has high oxygen output, and arent spotted because compared to small spiders they no longer have the ability to do much more than pounce out of their den and stay within those deep innaccesible regions. I know some plants give off a much larger amount of oxygen than others even when at the same size, would be interesting to k ow if the congo is a hotspot for these types of plants and trees.

Man there’s so much we don’t know about our world yet

That looks like a four foot leg span and it's body is much larger than a soccer ball.

No offense to the people who say it’s a deer but if you go in wide screen you clearly can see three legs when it walks off screen!!! :O

That's actually not a too farfetched theory, as a anonymous person stated to me that he saw a 3 foot spider when he was 6, also he stated that the spider's abdomen was pulsating. Now the gigantic tarantulas in the Congo and the Amazon that are said to reach 5 feet in length and by biological standards they can't grow to this size because of their respiratory systems and exoskeletons. What isn't too farfetched is that these gigantic tarantulas and other abnormally large spiders could have stronger exoskeletons to support themselves maybe they have a small lung that allows them to breathe, hence the pulsating abdomen.

As spiders have been here way before us, maybe some have evolved further and allow themselves to get bigger, just a thought.

Just remember guys that there’s a high chance that these things molt, considering they’re tarantulas... Imagine stumbling upon that, the terror. 😨

For those you can't see anything strange, look just under the tree on the right of the screen at 0:40 and you'll see it.

It does look like a huge spider but its blurry. Far as i am concerned the way it moves doesn't look like a deer at all...It move mechanically like some insects do. Great post. Its interesting to look for these unknown animals

Giant Huntsman spider and Goliath bird eater are like 1 feet in legspan. So, no surprise if the remote dense region of Congo rainforest might have a spider species of 3 feet legspan. Afterall, there use to be scorpions in prehistoric times which were like 2.5 feet long. I am also pretty sure that a 4-5feet stick insect might also be dwelling in unknown deeper part of congo. Because of the excellent camouflage and ability to remain still for days, not even the tribes living there since thousands of years noticed them.

If there are pockets of atmosphere in the Congo that are similar to the Carboniferous period, theoretically that could support such a creature.

If they do exist, be very careful. They would be classified as an old world species. And old worlds are very aggressive and territorial.
