Large websites can still forget to properly describe the purpose/function of web images, making it difficult for vision-impaired visitors to interact with the website content. The good news, this accessibility issue is one of the easiest to resolve.
- Add alt attributes to all image tags that briefly describe the purpose of the image
- Include text near the image that provides context to the image.

On one of our requirements, I was told to add (role="img") to one icon on one page. Being a huge government organization, I have no one to ask what that means. Do you have any clue?
