Plants can actually scream but we just don't hear them

For those confused, plants do not feel pain like humans because they do not have a brain. You need, at the very least, a nervous system with a brain that can use pain receptors to send to the body of injured. Plants HOWEVER can "communicate" if they are damaged by using clicking or popping noises that can't be heard by humans. Scientists are using ultrasonic microphones to record noises that plant's make when stressed or injured and comparing them to healthy plant's; with the stressed ones emitting 30-50 clicks an hour and the relaxed ones only making 1-3 clicks an hour. They don't just verbally communicate.. They also let us know when they need help by changing colors, wilting, and changing the chemicals in the scent they release. They talk to other plant's too by using any of those forms of communication to let other plant's know when there is danger, deprived resources, and when they are healthy too! All of the plant's communicate with eachother for survival and can react accordingly as well!!

I know that these are meant for make believe, but for those that do not know Mandrake is a very real plant. And the root does look like a human body. The legend of the plant screaming when pulled is from ancient lore. And for those who follow the old ways of magic. The plant is also toxic and can kill you if ingested.
