Today I purchase a sapphire 6790 with 500W cooler master SMPS & at first run I found the difference from other cards. This is my 3rd card & I'm very happy after seeing the performance. I've tried nfs shift 2, Assassins creed 2, split second velocity, battlefield 3, you won't believe that the games are auto detecting the card with high texture, resolution, anti analising etc etc

I belive there was a driver issue with MAFIA 2 as it does run fine on other AMD cards, this is a brand new launch driver.

Hey Elric love the channel, but why put last gen 450 and 5770 benchmarks on the slides. I think from a comparison standpoint it would make more sense to compare these cards to the 560 and 6850, since I think thats where most of the market is heading anyways. I mean, if I didn't already have the 6850 I would want to know if I should save $30 bucks and go 550/6790 or just go ahead and buy a 560/6850, at this point, unless I could get a 450/5770 for around $50-$60 I wouldn't even consider them.

WOW a friend from USA is coming to my country (argentina), the price is HIGHLY DIFFERENT. here this card is about 350U$D and in Newegg 150U$D, and in argentina an nvidia 9800gt is 150U$D! men things here are very expensive, now i'll have the 6790 by the end of May and i'll be the happiest 15years old guy on earth

for everyone asking if this card can run bf3, yes it can. you have 2 ways to run it optimally though (that is, min 25 fps +). Either sacrifice resolution for it to be run in ultra settings (maybe with the exception of AA) @ 720p or set graphics to med/high and res. @ 1080p. I'm waiting for the price of the radeon 6870 to go down or to see if the 7850 price is worth it.

@cs16rlz i saw a friend of mine playing mafia 2 on mega high (with PhysX at high) and you see things like

-the tires sink when you drive..
-when a weel gets shot.. you can see in detail the flat tire..
-the trash cans and other debris (have no idea how to spell that) show much more detail when you crash/shoot them...

i'm getting myself the 6790 because.. it's a bit cheaper in argentina.. and offers pretty much the same performance, plus i don't intend to use mafia 2 at mega high XD only @1080p
