Jesus passed through Mary’s womb just like the resurrection. This allowed Mary’s perpetual virginity before, during and after the birth of Jesus. Praise God for His amazing works!

Romans 3:23-24KJV “ FOR ALL HAVE SINNED “:and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Luke 2: 22-24 22And when the days of “ HER PURIFICATION “ according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; 23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;) 24 “ AND TO OFFER A SACRIFICE “ ( sin atonement). according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

Oh good grief! As you were explaining it I realized what you were going to say. This seems like such an obvious answer but we don't think it through to the realization. Thank you Jeff!

The pain of childbirth is related to evolution - upright stance (narrower hips), larger brains (bigger skulls). But if you're reading this, you probably don't think we evolved from apes.

Virgin births, ascensions to the heavens, and resurrecting gods were common narratives in the ancient Mediterranean world.

I would think the early Church fathers are correct. Jesus could have miraculously passed right through the womb just like He passed through walls (John 20:19) and passed through the midst of angry mobs (Luke 4:30). All things are possible with God.

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you *A SIGN* (not any sign); Behold, a *VIRGIN* shall *CONCEIVE AND BEAR* (yes, the SIGN are BOTH things) a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬

So she was a Virgin BEFORE AND AFTER Jesus was born!!

The arguments for Mary being a Virgin after the birth of Jesus are weaker than water. I don't think the fact that she bore children later in any way diminish her as being blessed among women. The original gospel texts make it very clear that she had children and that she "knew" her husband. Not sure why tradition is trumping facts in the church

The one who had no sin is Christ. Making anyone else sinless by doctrine is blasphemy.

Is the belief that Mary did not experience labor pains a Magisterial teaching or just common opinion?

Did Eve have dozens and dozens of children? If so, did she deliver the same way females do now?

I know you Catholic folks have a distorted idea of Mary and you spend some time worshipping her, but to claim Mary was a virgin throughout her life? What about Jesus's brother James?

Umm, how could Mary have been perpetually a virgin when the bible says that she had other children? 🧐🧐

There no where in the Bible that says Mary was born without sin that’s a false doctrine only one person was born without sin and that’s Jesus and if mary was born without sin why did she make a sin offering also y’all need to stop giving false doctrine specially about mary
