If I remember correctly she can actually understand Psycho. It is like it's an entirely separate language in universe. Kind of like how some characters in the MCU can understand Groot because they know the language. But to everybody else each sentence is completely indecipherable from the next. Maya can understand Krieg just like how Rocket and Thor can understand Groot.

krieg has the best story of all of them and its about life. sometimes you are unable to express yourself and tell people they matter but they somehow still get it you never know what is coming for you
