Thank you so much for making this - I love how open and straightforward your videos are as well as super professional and enjoyable to watch. I do have a question about mock-ups though that I’m hoping you can help me with. 💕

One of the biggest things holding me back from print on demand is the whole mock ups idea, as it seems kind of cheesy to advertise with photos that don’t actually portray the real product and I’m worried my customers won’t be satisfied and will feel betrayed when they get the real thing. How do you know which fabrics and designs are close enough to the real thing that people will feel like they’re looking at the actual product?

Another thing I’m concerned about is that so many people use the same mockups. While there are a lot of options and your own design will ideally make it stand out, I don’t want my customers to think I’m copying other people and I myself have stopped being as interested in buying shirts when there’s so many listings that look almost exactly the same at a glance. (Same little plant, blonde hair...not that it’s wrong, but it does make it less interesting as a customer) Do you know of a way to combat that or am I just overthinking this too much? 😅

Is there a way to filter t shirt mockups that are the most accurate of the ones we need? For example if I'm selling Gildan 5000, it would feel wrong to me to use that mockup you were working on. I know that's not how the Gildan 5000 fits. I would have to go one by one to find one that I think is most accurate and that seems very time consuming...

Thanks for your video! I use Placeit a lot but I do have one complaint. In so many of their mock ups, the model is holding a phone or coffee cup or is wearing a jacket or has the shirt tucked into their pants. This obscures a good deal of the photo from the final mock-up. Someone needs to tell these guys that the purpose of the mock-up is to display the design on the shirt, not their awesome photo shoot.
