Hello everyone and welcome to my new book review. This short book is a wonderful story that helps us think of all those special people and moments that fill us with gratitude.

Written by French author Delphine De Vigan, it was translated into English and it's a story of an elderly lady who has aphasia (mumbles words) and who wants to use the short time she has left in her life to find the family who helped her survive the Holocaust. Through the story, there are other moments of gratitude with the other characters of Marie, the young woman who looked after her and Jerome, the speech pathologist.

A wonderful and thought provoking read. Lesson? Always say thanks to those who helped you in your life. Never leave it until too late.

Over to you. What's a book about gratitude that has helped you?

I read Loyalties and then this book and I loved both. I really like Delphine de Vigan's style and themes 😍
