AJs voice soothes my soul. We need to get her a contract with Google Maps to read our GPS directions

When I lived in central Florida, September & February were always the best time to go for short lines.

The mistake I made on my last trip was buying 1 pineapple upside down dole whip to share with my husband. Fyi I did share but it was hard.

Last time I was at Magic Kingdom it started down pouring and like most people I usually run for cover but this time I decided to say “heck with it” and stood in the rain and got some incredible and unique pictures in front of the castle with not one other person in sight. Of course I was beyond soaked but luckily I had a complete change of clothes in my bag. So if you have a change of clothes I suggest staying in the rain and getting pictures and even running to another attraction because the crowds will be gone. Oh and you will definitely cool off. It was 90 and humid when I did so it was definitely refreshing.

The rule my family breaks all the time is going to the parks later in the morning. Sometimes we even get there at noon! But I’ve found that with good planning and strategic fast passes, we get to do everything we want to. Plus I get the extra bonus of a happy family. It also skews our appetites a bit so we’re not hungry when the lines are longest for food.

I went last year at New Years, and I have never seen that many people in my life, but counting down to midnight and watching the fireworks in Epcot with my dad, then getting the worse champagne either of us have ever had is one of my fondest memories.

My dad has a special power: Getting a Be Our Guest reservation. Seriously, he got us in at least 2-3 times. Last minute, may I add.

There are some mistakes that you just have to accept, like spending too much on merch lol!! I think I have started to just taking each WDW trip as it comes because I find it helps me to keep the magic alive! A x

My kids got a Mickey bar every single day we were there. Sometimes classic is better.

As a solo frequent visitor, I plan lightly, & put the rest of my visit to a park into the hands of serendipity!

We tried your tip on waiting until after the park closed and three hours later we were still in line for transportation. My suggestion is flee before the end of the fireworks.

My wife and I went to WDW for our honeymoon and we staid Late for the fireworks, and shopped on our way out. That is a GREAT TIME to shop...and wait for the crowed to thin out. (And exploring the parks at night is GREAT TOO!!!)

Coming from California and staying on west coast time means we always get to the parks later and stay until they close. So much easier to keep the kiddos on their own time zone!

My younger sister is the youngest person in our party and she will be just shy of 24 during our next trip this coming January (I'm 35), so we _never_ do early mornings. All of us are night owls, so we usually aim to leave the room by about 10-10:30am.

Part of our vacation is relaxing in the room at night after the parks close. We always stay at Boardwalk since it's our home DVC resort and try to have a Boardwalk view, so after our showers we always open up the curtains to see Spaceship Earth lit up along with the activity on the boardwalk below and curl up in our PJs to talk, play cards, or a multi player game on my Switch before calling it a night at about midnight.

My sister and I have also made it a tradition to take one night to go down to Jellyroll's together to have some drinks and hang out. Our family always has one dinner at Morimoto Asia, and this year she and I are thinking after dinner we're going to let the parents head back to Boardwalk with the car while she and I stay in Disney Springs to go to The Edison to have some fun and just catch a Minnie Van back at midnight.

So... mornings? Rope drop? Early Extra Magic Hours?

We don't know her. 😉

We love going the week before Christmas. Most people seem to head home and the lines aren’t too bad.

So I planned my last trip super in detail, and then on the last day instead of going to Hollywood Studios went to Animal Kingdom instead for the first time ever going in basically blind. Totally worth it, and it was my favorite day of the trip!
