AC Electrical Circuit Analysis: Impedance

In this video we introduce the concept of impedance. In general, impedance, Z, is a combination of resistance and reactance. Resistance can be thought of as a special case of the general concept of impedance, namely that of a vector with an angle of 0 degrees. Likewise, reactance has an angle of either +90 or -90 degrees, while impedance can have an angle anywhere in-between.

Brilliant, it's all becoming clearer and my Maths is improving. You draw the Inductor reactance/frequency graph as a straight line. That doesn't feel right, is it a good estimate or actually the case?
