Best Canadian Dividend ETFs for 2024 | Top Picks for High Returns

Investing in dividend ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) can be an effective way for Canadians to earn a steady income from dividends while diversifying their portfolios. Here are some of the top dividend ETFs for Canadians to consider

Considerations for Choosing a Dividend ETF:
Dividend Yield: Higher yields are attractive but ensure the companies are financially stable.
Management Fees: Lower fees can help maximize your returns over time.
Diversification: Look for ETFs that provide exposure to various sectors and geographical regions.
Historical Performance: Check the historical performance and consistency of dividend payments.

It's important to review the prospectus and understand the underlying holdings and strategy of each ETF before investing. Consulting with a financial advisor to align these investments with your financial goals and risk tolerance is also recommended.

I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?

I like that VDV pays monthly. Both ETFs you mentioned are great long-hold ETFs that should continue to perform. I also like VFV. which has performed quite well since I added it to my portfolio. Seems the spam idiots are at it again, commenting on your channel.

I think Vanguard SP 500 VFV is the best ETF for Canadian right now. Maybe you can explain to others why VFV is the most popular in canada. Thanks for sharing, nice video!

GLCC has been paying me about 1% every month after fees much more than everything you mentioned here (I also have vanguard to offset the risk). Not to mention it increased in value by 43% over the past 8 months.

Considering ZDY hasn't raised distribution in years, what makes you say that it will raise every year ?

Thanks for the video! Would you recommend adding these ETF’s to a portfolio that already has VEQT and VSP? 😎😎

What's your take on Crypto? How are taxes different on Crypto gains vs Non-Crypto earnings?

Until an etf influencer considers the factor of cost per share in their analysis, they are useless.
