When I was 18 I would always run with my phone/music but now I almost never take my phone out and just go running for the sense of freedom and de-stressing

Most days when I am too stressed, I watch one of the ultra race videos by either of Mark, Heather or Fraser. It really puts me in the mood to run.

A great way to stay relaxed is to go exploring while running. If u have good train connections then just take a train to a nearby village or small town and explore it while running.

If only I had a friend that can keep up with me and would cater to my run schedule. Zwift is the only place I actually run with others but ironically is the only place where I’m actually alone. I’m sad now.

I just lean forward and run, let loose the legs to do their job, not thinking too much about the running form. Probably the only thing I consciously think about in running is the glute. I feel the body is intelligent enough to adjust the stride etc according to the pace

I just run along and ring people as regulates my breathing or as I recommend a lot of my clients just run to time so it slows you down as not fretting over distance

2 tips run with your arms straight down by your sides loosely and then as you run bring them up in a relaxed way

Don’t make fists with your hands, touch your thumbs and forefingers together like your trying to hold a crisp

Is it best to start your run when your heart rate is already up (after 3 mins of warm up) vs starting off when your heart rate is at a resting rate (after a light warm up) ?
