The UNIFIL's presence in Lebanon has been useless. They failed to enforce UN Resolution 1559 (which called for the disbanding and disarmament of Hezbollah and other militias) and Resolution 1701 (which called for the withdrawal of all armed forces, except UNIFIL and the Lebanese Army, south of the Litani River). The UNIFIL must leave Hezbollah strongholds ASAP so that Israel can do what needs to be done without endangering them.
