1:30 5x5 strength based program
2:00 Supersets are an advanced technique and lends themselves better to hypertrophy training > trad strength training (5x5)
2:35 People who only focus on hypertrophy and body sculpting won’t continuously get results that way. You get the “feeling” of results from SS’s, due to massive pump.
3:15 The “feel” benefits of your workouts contributes to your progress of your workouts. If you enjoy the feeling of your workout and what you’re doing, you’re probably going to have better workouts and focus.
7:14 Supersets are found in bodybuilding, aesthetic shaping and sculpting routines. Not when you’re focused on building strength. Programs start with strength focus phase, and pump-inducing supersets on during the very end. Superior results this way.

Good point about the feel and enjoying the session. I know it's not the best long term choice but I can't train other than superset, it's been a while now. Everytime I try more "classic" method or a 5x5 or whatever strengh focused method I feel the rest periods between sets are so long that I get the impression of not working at all, not that I consider them bad training methods at all but the it doesn't feel good and right to me.

My upper body routine is 10 reps of each consecutively: pull ups, dips, overhead press, bent over row, neutral grip pull ups and pushups for 6 to 7 sets. Would you consider this routine as a superset? Thanks in advance
