If you ever are missing your island, I found out that you can still visit your old island via Dream Address if you have the code saved! It’s so funny to see your old self walking around and see all your villagers! I can’t wait for the new upcoming island videos! 💕🐸

I didn't intend to reset when everyone on Reddit was shouting "don't reset!"

I was pretty confident I wouldn't. Then I realized I hate my town's layout and if I didn't reset I wasn't going to play the game the entire month before release. At all. Sorting out my old town was exhausting.

So I made a new character, moved all my stuff into their storage after upgrading their house all the way, then moved them to a family member's Switch island, deleted my old one and moved back.

I'm going to miss Lilycove, but you can't move your resident services center or airport or the beach-river openings, so... it had to be done. My new island feels completely fresh and I'm just about ready for the update. Although now that it's coming up, due to money issues I'm not sure if I can get the HHP DLC the week it comes out...

At least there's other stuff to do in the update. Hopefully that will keep me occupied in the meantime.

I was like NO YOU PROMISED TO PUT FROGGY CHAIRS ON LEAPFROG but we're good, we're good. Also you don't have to worry about the cons of resetting right before the update since you have a second island 😎

Katt is genuinely such a good villager. I find she fits the Sisterly personality so well. Something about her is very charming. I hope you'll come to love her as much as I do!
