The F-35 Lightening II is the future aircraft of the America & Some Other Nations. Once Pierre Sprey said that "The F-35 Can’t turn, can’t climb, can’t run", but after Seeing This Video You Will be Able to accept the reality about the maneuverability of this Amazing machine.

Although impressive, the jet likely isn't being max performed for the public. Lockheed has a real winner in the F-35, and its only getting better with more software releases. Lopsided kill ratios of 15:1, 20:1 etc when participating in the most demanding war games on the planet - Red Flag. No plane is invincible, but the F-35 is a quantum leap in air combat. We should be procuring them by the squadron...

1:10 that engine is impressive still pushing the aircraft straight up despite going into the climb with almost no energy is seriously impressive.

Impressive, but the aircrafts true performance characteristics are likely classified. The U.S. won't unveil it's full capabilities.

I love the armchair pilots that call the f35 trash like they would know cause they fly them. Believe me the government wouldn't put a ton of money in RnD if this plane wasn't working obviously its starting to have a bright future and just seems to be getting better with time.

Why is it that everytime I watch an analysis of how an SU-35 would fare against an F-35, the latter is always described as the underdog, less maneuverable? To the so-called analysts, you’re wrong!

It seems very F/A-18 like in terms of agility.

Russia Should Worry About This Advanced Aircraft

That’s why the F-35A Lightning II is my favourite fighter.

Bottom line this is the most badass jet there is right now and the f22 but I know they stopped production and they were like 122 million each but this jet will destroy any other fighter jet that wants to come get some of our airforce..haha..this thing is sick..I always wanted to be a fighter pilot but my health got kinda messed up early on..wont go into it..not relevant but I know its gotta be a fkn thrill to fly one of those..thanks for keeping our skies safe guys💯

Anyone who claims the F-35 is anything short of superlative even after the merge is either ignorant or lying to you. An F-35 with a full load of fuel and air-to-air ordnance has better kinematics than an _unladen_ F-16 with minimal fuel. The control authority is excellent, energy retention is second to none, and the instantaneous turn rate and TWR are in contest for the best of any aircraft in service today. The only aircraft that even comes close is the F-22, but it lacks the flexibility and information-centric capabilities of the F-35.

Of course, those capabilities are only really useful at air shows, given how excellent the battlespace information and sensor systems are, which, combined with the very effective signature-reduction technologies, allow the F-35 to be effectively invincible in a BVR fight.

And it costs less than a new-production Flanler-series aircraft.

Why so many years of defamatory press about this plane? Now it performs very well, isn't it?

Just love that pedal maneuver, I like how those elevators work hard for the F-35. Great Chan, just hit that Subb.

High alpha pass? Less than 100mph?
Sh-t I can’t pull that on Ace Combat 7 :(

That is the magic of flight control software, it is just like a Tesla drifting .

0:07 It might just be me being a dumbass but that is pretty impressive that the afterburner is so visible in broad daylight. Never seen that before tbh

While this is some impressive maneuverability, don’t forget this isn’t it’s best weapon. It’s best weapon is that instead of the pilot habit to construct a mental model of the environment for their sensor data, the plane does it for the pilot. So the pilot can focus their attention on being in the best position to make use of its missiles and avoid engaging in a dogfight unless they hold the advantage.
