Remember when everyone was talking shit about the F-35? Kind of hard to do that now, isn't it?

Russia's media for the last 50 years have been saying stealth doesn't work .but still trying to develop their own, doesn't make much sense.

F-35 is about stealth (enemy might know you are there, but they can not target/lock you), range, cruise speed, weapons systems, communications and sensors. It should never get into a dogfight.

The f35 has many qualities.Maneuverability is not one of them.

The sensor package is the true strength of the F-35. It can fly into a battlespace and relay target information in live time. Couple that with the palletized delivery of standoff missiles from a cargo plane and you have a devastating platform.

The F-35 doesn’t have super cruise, only the Raptor does.

I was a part of the rollout ceremony Feb 2006 and the first flight on Dec 2006. The F-35  "Lightning II"  is an amazing aircraft. If you happen to see the F-35 at an airshow they will only perform the unclassified maneuvers as shown in this video.

a Boeing 787 did a vertical climb after takeoff but bare bones inside.
new engines are so powerful they propel a fighter jet plane like it was a rocket with no need of wings for lift but for control.
I have seen Russian MIGs do a vertical (90) position 'dance' near the ground several performing.

Funny how most military analysts YouTube’s and google says U.S. military has 3k aircraft, we have that alone on one base I live by and most ca be ready in 24 hours if need be❤🎉
