At some point people needs to put up against Elon Musk bs. For example this one. What he said makes no sense at all.

Face ID, and face detection are two different technologies. One uses infrared light to identify facial features, the other one just detects that something has a face. Its already really hard for face id to be accurate in close proximity. Let alone in a drone aerial view.

Also, coordinating several drones in a place is also hard to do, it's a whole different technology that requires a previous 3d rendering and a 3d animator. Drones today do not have space awareness, and the collision sensors are rudimentary. They do not identify things. Also, they are noisy af.

in no way a drone can identify a face with current technology and in no way drones can coordinate themselves to follow a target. Its just really much easier to just drive and ram a drone to a dude's face. That's the only thing you can do today.
