America is one crazy dysfunctional place. He spent 2 weeks in jail waiting where they can confirm his rental within an hour. Just boggles my mind. This has been happening for years. I would NEVER rent a car from Hertz. Or any car company for that matter. Never do it. It’s not just him I’ve heard so many stories that I’ve lost count. Ppl spent months in jail. I’m sure someone has been shot and killed by a cop bc of this… seriously I guarantee it.
