Just to make sure this is for me to plug my ethernet and be able to wire in as many as 8 devices to it by retaining the maximum internet speed. This will help my devices getting the maximum speed instead of doing wifi and having big spees fluctuations.

Do you have to plug in a router for it to work? I was thinking of using it to connect multiple computers, with no internet, for a lan party.

So you have to plug in a input cable from the internet router correct? Or is there another jack on the back? Meaning this is actually a 7 port input hub and not 8, right?

Hi, is your WAN (internet) is plugged in? Does it accept multi WAN?

Do you need to ground the switch ? Does it work without grounding it ?

So one of the eight ports goes to the router. Therefore it's actually a 7 port switch.
