Good video, Jon, and I appreciate what you're saying. However, I find I can't fully agree with some of the "both sides" points in it. One political party has shown they're willing to take my children away from me if I teach them that boys are boys and girls are girls. To me, that is too extreme of a threat and does make someone my enemy. I'll try to pray for my enemies as I'm commanded to, but I will fight tooth and nail to keep that evil away from my children and certainly far away from the reigns of power to enact such evil policies.

I tried telling my Christian friend, who supports Harris, that regardless who wins, it is in God's will and we should trust His judgment, and all will work out for us believers, so don't worry too much about it. He didn't even acknowledge it and said the right wants us to hate immigrants (the topic we were discussing, and I never said or implied any such thing). It made me sad that a Christian who I minister with can disregard Jesus's role. It didn't sound like I was even talking to a Christian anymore. As a Christian, I find myself stuck between trying to defend my political beliefs without saying things that go against my beliefs due to my faith. I think that our faith and our beliefs as a Christian should come before any political beliefs and we shouldn't divide from people because of their political beliefs or ours.
