this would be a slightly bad snail home, You should keep it with a ventilated container about 6 inches long and 5 inches wide. Make sure to add a drainage with rocks and fiber mesh(or any thing with small punctured holes). Then, use a substrate mix including dried up small pieces of bark or small dried up pieces of leaf. Find dry leaves or bark and microwave them, not as long, but enough for bacteria to die. Then, mix it with the substrate. This will create a good soil that helps with feeding a animal called "springtails" which eat mold and any dead stuff. And when springtails poop, they fertilize the substrate, which helps plants and any moss grow. Most importantly, make sure to lightly spray the home with water and feed the snail daily. Make sure to add plants like moss, fitonia, or other plants to help increase the oxygen in the inclosure. Moss is a great plant to substitute grass and even help springtails hide and live. Also try adding rocks that are not sharp and narrow to help add some hardscape for the snail to climb. Adding drift wood or any long, not pointy or narrow or thorn-free wide sticks of wood help add hardscape and also helps them climb more. making them more active. One thing I forgot to mention, add live plants. Sure, plants could be a food source or even a fertilizer when they decompose, but live plants are most important. This is due to the fact that once any plant that is not alive or doesn't have any roots and has just been ripped off its stem and put into the terrarium, it will decompose and eventually go away. And a benefit for live plants is helping the terrarium look natural and beautiful. This is all i can say, so make sure to use these tips.

I recommend buying some good pesticides free dirt and sphagnum miss and leafs and keep it moist with at least a 5 gallon tank and mist it with declorinated water with reptisafe drinking water and ricedveggies
