Hi Jason thank you for the video it seems pretty straight forward. I tried accessing my camera remotely but can but can through the IP/domain
Only issue I'm having is that mine is not a true Hikvision dvr. I have a similar screen as yours but I do not have a QR code I can scan fr. The configuration menu when I have my monitor connected to the dvr

Hello Jason, hope you can help me here. My installer hasn't reached back to me sadly. I use the Ivms4500 app to view my cameras. All of a sudden 6 of the 8 cameras don't have video. Do you have any ideas why this may be?? Wires seem to be fine and I've rebooted system with no luck. Thank you kindly!

Hi Jason, I followed all these steps on this video and it was to the tee 👍
However the issue I’m having is regularly getting that I’m offline or that the streaming times out. IVMS 4500 never had issues and seemed much more stable. Any way you can assist Thx

Hello Jason, I changed my internet provided, but now I can't access my cameras remotely when away from home. I was able to change and update the IP for when I am on the network and that works fine. Please, what settings do I need to update to enable me use IVMS-4500 when I am away from my local network. Canada doesn't have Hik-onnect server app for end user in the Google store app for download so I am stuck with IVMS-4500.

Hi Jason, my IVMS-4500 app has stopped working since Feb 2022. I have called an installer many times but he keeps postponing or not replying. After watching your video, I hope I can follow your instructions and fix it myself. I think I need a monitor to connect to a recorder before I can change the setting from a recorder. Am I correct Jason? Thank you!

I’m lost…. What problem do you guys all have with the IVMS-4500? I’m still using it every day without any problem. Why should I connect to hik-connect server when I only want to connect to my home? I don’t understand the need to rely on others to connect home.
Ha… may be because you guys used the ddns… I connect direct to home. For me, nothing changed as of February. Should I expect loosing my connection? For sure I want to keep access to home without any outside intervention.
