I've loved the constructicons since the very beginning. My G2 devastator is still flimsley standing on my shelf after all these decades. That being said; let the constructicons rest. There have been remakes and recolors and remolds and third party after third party sets. Even the 500 Optimus primes are saying that's enough.

I'm happy, Cybertron Landmine got on the list at 10, but I had a feeling that some good construction vehicle transformers didn't have a chance to make the list because more people like the Constructicons.

Excellent top 10 as always Gotbot! I put in for my boy Hauler but alas, he did not make it. However, I know the haulin' spirit dwells in all true haulerheads, and that one day he will receive his flowers.

I was glad to see Scrapper take the #1 spot as I believe he's the only combiner leader that forms a leg!

I like how you have Cybertron Landmine and Scoop in the same slot, because in 2007, Landmine got repainted into Grindcore, and Grindcore got repurposed Shattered Glass Scoop.... I see you have some SG bots behind you, so if you want to add another Autobot to your ranks, there ya go. 😉

The Armada series didn't have Constructicons.
Scavenger was always an Autobot who trained Optimus from a rookie into the leader he is now.
It's just that as a nod to the G1 Constructicons, he spent the first few episodes of his apperences as an undercover agent, working for the Decepticons.
And Scavenger is a track loader, basically a bulldozer with a bucket shovel for picking up dirt instead of a blade shovel for merely pushing it away.

Also, as for Cybertron Metroplex, I wouldn't call a bucket wheel excavator a construciton vehicle.
Those things are usually confined to large, open cast mines, digging up coal and other minerals.

I have Landmine, Scavenger, Metroplex, Wedge and Grapple. While not my first, Landmine was the first non Mini-Con I got who Transformed into a construction vehicle. I have got more since, and I'm looking forward to the SS86 Constructicons coming out next year and the year after.

I remember that on Giant Planet in the Cybertron series, Menasaur was the bad guy who joined Megatron/Galvatron and I was wondering, what was his Alt mode in Cybertron?

If the list is about vehicles, then why on Cybertron do Scoop and Scrapper occupy the opposit ends of the list as separate entries, while they have the same vehicle alt. mode?
