I just watched a news report on auto theft and how the thieves somehow gain access tools to copy fobs.
Question ❓

Is it possible to integrate fiber optics, 8 bit, 16 or 32 bit punched card reader into the dash that would not only allow the engine/transmission operation but also allow key fob operation at the same time ?

Maybe this idea has been brought up, I would have no idea.

Here’s the problem I see as a recent graduate student. Your teams are aged 50+ which in turn leads to poor decisions for keeping with modern trends. All 4 brands need an overhaul. Cadillac needs to become the pinnacle of American luxury with that said keep Cadillac out of the GMC, Chevy, and Buick platforms. That can be achieved due to Buick still being around and making Buick the standard of luxury. GMC needs their emphasis on a being a premium brand and Chevy can stay where they are. GM needs to put a strong emphasis on reliability to kick stigmas out.

The mistake was to make EVs in the first place. This is what happens when Government gets in your business. Government is stupid.

Why did GM dump the affordable EV and downsize…profits over pivots isn’t working anymore. Time for making the hard choice, all in on EVs or go bust.
