I feel like it shouldn't be rng to level the gear, you should just be able to upgrade it instantly per level just up the silver cost. Surely there is enough rng involved in getting the piece you want and rolling the sub-stat you want.

I also love when it glitches and it takes all your money and never levels up, and you find out that a million or so silver later, that it ACTUALLY leveled up 500, 000 silver ago.. and you've lost all that silver.

You hit the nail on the head for mobile. It is honestly part of the reason I usually have overflowing gear waiting to be rolled up to see if they are keepers.

One easy fix which does not require a new system or loses them any money:
Increase the chance for upgrades. At the same time increase the silver cost.
DONE - same amount of silver required but time safed! - plus, its still the same system!

This hit hard. Sometimes it takes days of campaign farming silver and going back to the same artifact to get it to 16 because it costs me 3-4mil+ sometimes for just 1 piece

100% agreed. Just a big fat convenient hole in the ground, that you as player are pouring silver into, frequently interrupted by a message that essentially says that your financial sacrifices doesn't even register. "Would you like to contact support?", my ass.

@Hell Hades There is a sneaky trick to speed this up without add-ons. Put the game in window rather than maximised and drag the window size up and down. In Windows this limits the FPS to something like 10fps so it upgrades quicker just like RSL helper. Assume you'd have to capture desktop to watch the hilarity of you shrinking and stretching your game window. Hope it helps in your F2P no add on account.

It offers not gameplay value. They should take the average cost to level up a piece of gear per level and fix the price and make it instant level up. There is no reason not to if the price is set to the average cost because it will work out to the player base spending the same amount of silver but saving them time and frustration.

Rolling gear has always been a nightmare and annoying due to the amount of rolls that goes into flat stats. And the lag I've been experiencing for the past few months has been excruciatingly painful. Takes around a minute just to move from artifact to jewellery section and vice versa. Usually takes about 4 hours just to complete artifact events and that's without taking a break or even grabbing myself a cuppa coffee. Its simply Ridiculous!
