What do you think: Does Sean Spicer saying "Black Lives Matter" change anything? Is it helpful? Hurtful? Let us know what you think!

"If rich people aren't buying boats, the middle class isn't making any money.'

That has to be the most Republican comment in years. Good Lord. Marie Antoinette is like 'Dude. Get a grip.'

*I never realized how absolutely perfect Melissa McCarthy was in playing Spicer until today. The resemblance was uncanny, too!*

Sean Spicer is a fence sitter and a chump. Trying to please both sides. He FAILED.

Mr. Watson is a terrific interviewer .. doesn't attack .. he asked excellent questions to give the guest the opportunity to explain themselves on whatever subject is being discussed. He seems to be genuinely interested in understanding the point of view of the guests. Loved the interview with Rep Bass and with Mr. Spicer. Well worth the time to watch these 20 minute podcasts.

I appreciate the speaking with a variety of people. I hope you stay this course and do more talking with people of varying points of views. This is what we need.

He's not wrong about the economy. In times of difficulty Americans don't like change. With the announcements that came out today that payroll taxes were going to be suspended and there was going to be more take-home pay this summer I'm reminded of what Spicer said about August. If people feel they're taking more money home this month it's quite possible they're going to feel positive about the economy and they might stick to voting with Trump.

Kennedy and Johnson created this "Horrible Welfare State" that destroyed the Black Nuclear Family. Fact (U.S. Census) shows that from 1860 to 1960 the percentage of Blacks married was higher than percentage of Whites. JFK and LBJ just wanted votes. Why did a disproportionate number of Blacks get drafted. Hmm 😒 Cause LBJ was decent. Please

What Sean has concluded about his job is, he did as he was told. And if your boss who deliberately lies, and we see it, and you still support him because it’s a job... you share the problem because you sat back and did nothing, and propagated a lie and situations that could hurt people. One word: integrity. I don’t feel Sean left with that.

The whole piece about the interview process — or lack thereof — for the press secretary job is remarkable.

What is the point of interviewing someone who refuses to tell the truth?

What a nice, normal human being. I didn't expect this; I thought he would be a humorless and combative guy who was nothing but partisan. Trump picked a good one (and I didn't vote for Trump in 2016) Good attitude about the BLM protests, a balanced and productive view.

It seems to me that Trump took a desperate *yes man* who was willing to lie as needed, gave him a bit of power and Sean let it get the best of him. Sean made numerous bad choices such as who to affiliate himself with and how much of his soul to sell. The thing is, when you sell pieces of your soul, you never get them back. He will always pay a price from that time. Hopefully he learned from this and others can learn by example.

I'm done with Carlos Watson and Sean Spicer! My husband is white and he came from the poorest family I've ever seen. He is one of 10 children that lived in a mill village in a decrepit 2 bedroom, 1 bath house with no running water and with holes in paper thin walls. His father worked 2 jobs and extra shifts just to put food on the table and pay the rent. They were too proud to ask for assistance from the government, no food stamps, no Wick, no free lunches for their children and they went without lunch many times because they didn't have any food to fix. This had a detrimental effect on some of the children's growth but his parents didn't realize it or were too stubborn and proud to ask for or accept help. His parents were very religious people from the Appalachian Mountains and they grew up dirt poor too and the cycle continued with them and their children. His parents were only able to buy their children one pair of shoes a year and they had to wear them to church, to school, any social functions, and to play in, so their shoes were usually a cheap pair of tennis shoes. They bought second handed clothes and my husband usually had to wear hand me downs if the clothes survived, thank God he had 2 older brothers or else he wouldn't have had any clothes to wear. My husband and his siblings were constantly picked on at school and ridiculed for their clothing and lack of funds for lunch and school supplies. They were regularly called white trash by middle class and rich people and even by the blacks in their neighborhood, that's right they lived in integrated neighborhoods in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. They were the poorest people in the neighborhood even his black friends commented on how poor they were and this is a direct quote from one of his lifelong black friends, "Randy's family was and is still the poorest family I've ever known, but he's one of the best people I ever known too." He started selling newspapers when he was 8 yrs old to help his parents out and continued helping them out until their deaths. But their home was condemned when he was 15 yrs old and they had to move in with other family members for a few months (they were packed in like sardines) until they could save enough money for another place to live. To get himself out of the cycle of poverty, he either had to be a great professional sports star or join the service. He was a great amateur boxer and won lots of Golden Glove tournaments but he didn't want to turn pro at 18 so he joined the service at the end of the Vietnam War. He boxed for the Navy and he was All Navy Champion, Inner Service Champion, with multiple Golden Glove Championships. He went to college on the GI Bill and earned 2 degrees, one in Communication and the other in Criminal Justice and he worked a full time job while going to college and so did I because we had a mortgage, car payments, and we had our precious sons to care for. No one and I me no one ever helped him get ahead or get a job or anything else. He has worked so hard for everything, to get out of the cycle of poverty, and out of the stigma of being considered white trash. So please stop saying that all white people have privilege because it's absolutely not true, it's a myth! None of your YouTube followers would be able to live a week in his shoes no matter what race you are. So shame on Carlos Watson and Sean Spicer for even stating that! I bet neither of them ever went without food or was ever hungry a day in their lives. It sickens me to think there are people out there ignorant to the fact that there are White people who have never had any privilege in lives!
