When things like this happen, whilst challenging it, always remember to look around, and ask: what is this a distraction from? What is being buried?
For example, in the wake of this, quietly, lots of government agencies have been told to stop public communication, some social media accounts have been removed entirely for publishing scientific data, and lists of personnel have been requested - Orwellian precursors.

I was among those who figured "how bad could it be for trump to be president". But today I learned that apparently the president has oversight over the EPA and for some reason they're getting gutted. I was shocked. With something so important, I would have thought that the EPA, CDC, FDA, etc are protected by congress, because their function is too important to be mucked with by one person.
