In reference to Adam Kinzinger's statement, "...the chaos that we're seeing now." I would describe Trump's first term as chaotic but not this time. This is focused accomplishment after accomplishment.
Also, referring to people with opposing viewpoints as "bad guys."

The idea that anyone is angry about 2 people with opposing viewpoints having thoughtful, respectful conversations, says a lot more about those people themselves than it does about Newsom, Bannon, or anyone else participating in these discussions. This applies to anyone on the left or the right, and is true regardless of Newsom's motives.

Not a fan of Newsom, but at least he’s willing to talk to people who disagree with him. Biden and Harris wouldn’t.

Nobody should underestimate Newsom. The man is a chameleon.

'Finger in the wind' is a good analogy. I suspect that the winds are not left vs. right anymore. 'Pragmatism' is the word, and if Newsom allows himself to be 'beaten up' and 'disciplined' for past positions, his contrition may open the doors widely for acceptance into the new wind directions ahead.

I don’t think Newsom’s gonna come out of this with a fully restored image by any means, but give him 100 episodes or so & we’ll begin to have a better measure of the effect.

The ‘chameleon’ traits you described are chillingly accurate. It escapes me how one could pull it off, but i think when being intellectually honest that it’s fair to assume a good portion of these politicians are sociopaths.

I think if we actively worked against enabling people exhibiting that tendency to fill positions of power in our government, we would have a true return to a system that’s ‘for the people, by the people’. It’s unfortunate that we’ve been conditioned to believe such traits are synonymous with capability & courage. The difference lies within the heart, & you can see it in their eyes.

This is a deliberate move to the center, he's long-term getting it together for 2028
