It seems to me that these Recall efforts would be less common if they just made it a rule that the Lt. Governor would replace the Governor unless one of the alternative candidates won a majority.

What I took away from this is that the best and most reliable way to get elected in California is to star in a beloved franchise about killer robots, win a bodybuilding competition and growl about Crom-THEN ring up the political party of your preference and put yourself forth as their candidate.

When looking at the money raised, pay attention to the fact that twitter, facebook, netflix, and other big businesses donate to him. That is the only reason he seems to have more support... But you can't base support on money.. . unless you calculate for total donations (not just total dollars).

I'm a Democrat, but California is not run right, I really think a moderate Republican in charge is the way to get it in order right now

The early vote assumes that Republicans vote yes and Democrats vote no. But as we know, this isn't a partisan issue and some Democrats are going to vote yes. Will it be enough? We'll see.
