5 Days in the Wilderness: Building a Bushcraft Shelter on a Mountain
Показать описание
Day 1:
I set off into the mountains, my backpack loaded with bushcraft gear.
I searched for a suitable location to build my shelter.
Despite the steep terrain, I found a spot near an uprooted tree that was relatively level.
I gathered branches and logs using my axe and saw.
Day 2:
I began constructing the main frame of the shelter using thicker branches.
To compensate for the sloping ground, I used rocks and thicker logs to create a more level surface.
I secured the structure with ropes and bushcraft knots.
For the roof, I used thinner branches and leaves.
Day 3:
I added layers of leaves and moss to the roof for insulation.
Considering the slope, I built the entrance of the shelter on the side with the least incline.
To keep out water, I covered the entrance with large leaves and flexible branches.
I lined the inside of the shelter with leaves and moss for warmth and comfort.
Day 4:
I built a fire inside the shelter to keep it warm and cozy.
I used my bushcraft skills to gather food and water.
I spent the night in my safe and warm shelter.
Day 5:
After 5 days, my mountain shelter was complete.
Despite the challenges of building on a steep slope, I was able to create a secure shelter using bushcraft skills and ingenuity.
With a backpack full of experience and memories, I headed back home.
Good luck!
