In today's episode I'll be showing you the latest controller adapters for the Atari Jaguar made by Bliss-Box. Prepare for playing your Jag games in new ways, and it's done by going back to your favorite controllers of the old days. With the GamerPro Advanced and Bliss-Box Bridge Adapters you can play most Jaguar games with older Atari, Sega Genesis, Nintendo, 3DO, Saturn, Playstation, Dreamcast, and Gamecube controllers (as well as other system controllers). With additional adapters you can use PC, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 controllers, as well as the X-Arcade Tankstick. Prepare to see the Jaguar in a new light today!

You can buy the X-Arcade Tankstick 5-in-1 adapter here:

The PS3/4 to PS2 console Brook Super Converter adapter shown in today's episode can be found on Ebay as can the Ctonusmax plus controller adapter.

In the video, there's a tutorial about loading in firmware, and I show the latest firmware file for the Bliss-Box Bridge being loaded in. The best file to use (as of the day this video is uploaded) is labelled 01009. At this point in time, this firmware works the best with almost all the compatible Jaguar games.

An exception to this is Rebooteroids: You'll need Bridge firmware version 01004 to play this game since it has different controller requirements than the other games. There may be other Jaguar games which I'm unaware of that will also work best with 01004, so be aware of that.

This video contains details about setting up the Bliss-Box Bridge with PC software:

@ 44 min 26 seconds into this video I discuss the Windows Command Prompt method of getting the job done. This section of the video also shows what to do if you have trouble getting the software for the Bridge to work.

@ 51 minutes 55 seconds into the video I discuss the Bliss-Box Flasher method of getting the job done (much easier and faster than the Command Prompt method). This is definitely the most desirable tool for accomplishing the task, and that's why I showed it in today's video.

Special thanks to Emforay for making the theme song of Wired-Up Retro.

Special thanks to DJ Kestutis for providing the outro song, Reborn:

Hope you enjoy the episode.

Where has this wonderful toy been all my life? Let me ask: is it possible to get an Atari 2600 driving controller (p/n CX20-01) working with Tempest 2000 for the Jag? That might be a good experiment to try. Yes, I know the driving controller only has one button, but there may be a way around that by rigging up a second controller to the second controller port.
