This is fantastic for original hardware. Didn't know it could even play JAG CD's or Atari ST. Thanks so much for letting the community know. You know I'm always here for your content. Stay well my friend.

Saying this as a collector with a nearly complete Jag and CD library (all purchased new at launch or during the 1996 clearance):
Im still looking for a reason to wake my Jag from its LONG hibernation...and im still not seeing one.
The Jag2HD i preordered back in July just showed up last week BUT it was purchased as a gift for a friend so:
"In my closet, my darkened closet, the Jaguar sleeps tonight"

Looks like I'll get a Jaguar now. Growing up, my Dad thought the Jaguar was going to be huge so he invested a decent chunk of money into Atari.

I would love a full size remake of this machine with re-release carts.

Never ceases to throw me off when a game has a different title in other territories (Evolution: Dino Dudes was called The Humans everywhere else iirc)

It still doesn't answer where I learned to fly.

Wish they made a modern 6 button jaguar controller with minimized 12 flush button section on bottom

I don't have a jaguar and have no interest in getting one. But I see a new video from Blaine, I watch it. Love this guy

a settlement was reached in September 1994 between both parties — Sega would acquire $40 million worth of stock in Atari and would also pay Atari $50 million for a license to use over 70 patents issued between 1977 and 1984. The companies agreed to cross-license up to five games per year through 2001. They also agreed to drop all claims against each other."

The Game Drive looks to be a great bit of kit. Would be nice if they could get the price down a bit, though.

It's so funny that I never really knew anything about this system, but recently got into playing Neo Geo games and remembered this was a thing and it's amazing that anyone is even still talking about the Jaguar since I never hear about it.

Somewhere in my storage is what is called the Catbox . Its the then current HDTV out add-on . I also have a pro-Jaguar controller .

Amazing that the Atari ST was used in a Jag. Is Towers II on there as well?

I have the Game Drive, it’s awesome. Might need one of those HDMI adapters though. Now all we need is a wireless bluetooth controller!

Finally! I knew a flashcart would come out eventually. That HDMI adapter thing looks very convenient too. Tapping into the ST games is also a great way to expand the Jags limited library

I always wanted a Jaguar since i got my 8bit Atari 800XL and then got and still own an Atari ST(e) with 4MB(!!!) of Ram. 😁 But here in germany it costs way over 550 euros if you even get one, so it will just be in my dreams forever i guess...🤥😮‍💨 Oh, THX for the Infos btw.
