I discovered “bubbly water” (San Pellegrino) on my first trip to Italy in 1997. Since then it’s all I drink; plain-unflavored and so cold that it’s almost slushee. I drink so much of it (especially in the Summer) that I had to switch to generic (3 - 12 packs for $10) which means I have a bubbly water budget of $40 month!
