2017 Mercedes Benz C300 W205 Battery Replacement

This video is for reference only, My battery was showing me low and fluctuating voltage, finally I decided to replace it, also about 2 months ago the ECO Start/stop stop working and my car also had low idle rpm, after replacing the battery my car idles fine and after a drive the ECO Start/stop started to work again, the age of my battery was 4 years and 7 months approximately

Tools:
3/8 Ratchet
Long extension
Short extension
10mm socket
13mm socket
Volt Meter if you want to check battery voltage

My battery voltage would jump around from 12.3 to 12.56, I checked it without being connected to the car

I'm not a mechanic and I take no responsibility for any damages that may occur with your own vehicle as this video is only to show how I replaced my battery.

There is no programing required for the battery

My start stop hasn’t been working since i got the car last year (CPO 2018 c300)but I never noticed because it was my first car with this function, replaced battery earlier and noticed it was working now, thought I had done something wrong and google lead me here, thanks!

how long did your car battery last?, mine is a 2018 face lift model and and the stop start is not working. I suspect it;s the main battery because in the mercedes me app the battery shows as partially charged

What about any errors or coding the battery to the car. Just got a new battery, been told it needs coding 🤷
