Watching guys who aren’t hitters or fighters come to hop in like that was awesome.

And that’s how you do it as a star player. You got to stand up for yourself first and foremost. And his teammates know the importance of Bedard. They will be a great team one day in the not too distant future. Matthews and McDavid should take notes.

When the referee's didn't call the cross-check, it basically told st Louis they could do what they want. All sports have gone bad because of the ref's.

Bedard looks great in pre season. Getting comfortable. He stood up for himself in junior as well. I think the kids hitting the century mark this season

The guys at work: “you watch a bunch of men with sticks?” Me: “you watch a bunch of men in yoga pants wrestle over a ball.” The silence was delicious.

Would love to see Bedard develop a Bure esque bite to his game.

I just hate to see the Hawks do anything right. Of course, I’m a Flyers fan so by rule, I have to hate every team.

But I have loved Bedard since I was able to watch him have so much fun in IIHF tournaments. I knew he’d have to gain a little more “attitude” when he joined the League and he has truly done that.

Considering the injury he went through last season, Connor is doing it right by letting his boys know he’s going to do what he can to handle himself. It’s easy for his mates to back the star player that’s undersized but willing to step up.

I’m sure Bedard was hoping to play for the Flyers so he wouldn’t have to worry about the pressure to win a Cup.

As a kid ( 56 yrs old now ) I too was undersized. But my coach told me I made up for being undersized by lacking any real talent. I was so bad that I was asked to leave my home state of Minnesota and move to Montana where hockey was more of a hobby sport in the 70s. ( I’ve always been a Flyers fan )

Man I hate the Hawks.
