Verdin Calling 🐤📞🥰

The verdin is a small bird that lives in hot desert regions of North America. It belongs to the family Remizidae, which includes the penduline tits of the old world. The verdin has a gray body, a yellow head, and a reddish patch on its shoulder. It feeds on insects, spiders, fruits, seeds, and nectar. It builds several nests throughout the year, using thorny twigs and lining them with soft materials. The nests are large and spherical, with an entrance on one side. The verdin is a permanent resident and does not migrate. 🌵😍
