I'm not religious but the sulfur balls really did rain down from the sky. I found a crater underwater off the coast of Turkey some 75 km in diameter. It has the characteristics of a crater created by an object softer than the earth, like sulfur. It passed over Egypt spewing out vaporized sulfur that condenses to a blood red liquid. Because it is nearly three times heavier than air it flowed to the lowest point turning the waters of the Nile red. The sulfur vapors also reacted with water vapor to form hydrogen sulfide giving the water a rotten egg smell. As the object crossed the Mediterranean it threw billions of tons of water high in the atmosphere where it froze and fell back to earth as terrible hail. Even more water than that evaporated and the saturated air rained for forty days and forty nights. The smoke trail would have blocked the sun creating an intensely dark shadow that lasted three days.
