Mrs. Renee you know you hit the hammer on the nail! dead on, Tithers love to tell you God is going to get the money from you some kind a way if something breaks down and you have to get something fixed or replaced, but they can't explain when something breaks down on them, and they paying all these tithes, what is their problem when their stuff tear up! No tithe preacher in his right mind wants anyone to tithe just exactly like anyone in the bible tithed. they want you to tithe like they want you to tithe. You can't keep ten percent of the law. You got to keep it all.

I know tidthing was for giving a percent of livestock and crops not money. But i notice lately i been seeing preachers saying tidths are 10% before tax gross not net. They will even bring up proverbs 3-9. They argue the first fruits go to God. But my take is are fruits are what is physically in hand. So that means its net after taxes not gross since we never touched the pre tax income.

please watch video about Pastor Ed Young preaching on tithing. I must warn you it was a terrible message. he was saying "its all about the money.." if you do not tithe don't come to is a 13 minute clip...God have mercy!!! I would have walked out the church...

Jesus took a coin and held it up....He said to the Church... Bring Me a denarius that I may see ” 16 So they brought And He said to them,  “Whose image and inscription  this?” They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” 17 And Jesus answered and said to them,  [f]“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” ..Caesar is an antichrist, God makes it plain that money belongs to the antichrist ( the world system is antichrist), God does not need or want anything that belongs to the antichrist. Tithing in the bible was never money.
