I don't mean to be rude or come off as ignorant but genuinely curious, how did Julia obtain a clearance? Do Carriers only need Secret? Were there any caveats? I knew a guy who was Chinese American and was no longer allowed to go to certain subs (after power school) because of potential risk of familial ties back in the PRC.
