No one will ever convince me that sliding a slither of metal down the groove of a vinyl disc can perfectly recreate the sound of an orchestra. It's an easter egg put there by the creators of the simulation I live in. I'm on to you and your vinyl records creators! And your damn goats in trees.

Wouldn’t the process of etching the grooves into the mold (seeing up close how the incredibly precise indentations are carved such that running a needle over a physical pattern can actually *reproduce the sound of entire songs*) be the most interesting part of this process? Haha it was cool to see the unpressed vinyl pellets, but… The way finer, more scientifically interesting part was glossed over by just already having the mold ready to go, such that we don’t get any insight into how the songs actually get encoded onto a physical surface.

This isn't even the part I'm most interested in. How TF are the grooves made: A simple press with the audio file transmitted to it? Is there someone that has to listen to EVERY song with fine detail, to make sure the product sounds like it should? How do the grooves and sizes equate to how fast the song gets played on the turntable?? (That can lead to a huge tangent for me)
How do they know it comes out perfectly every time? Are there ever chances where I get a record, and the A/B sides are either flip-flopped, or a completely different artist accidentally gets put on my record???
